Maximum working dimensions
We publish maximum working dimensions per production method only once they are confirmed for every relevant process. Until then, send the finished size with your brief and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.
Minimum quantity by product family

- Quoted per job — no standard minimum.

Production time
Production time is confirmed in writing on every quote. It begins after approved artwork, commercial acceptance and any required payment — not at the date of enquiry.
Artwork requirements
File formats
Vector: PDF, AI, EPS or SVG. Raster: PNG, JPEG or TIFF at 300 dpi at final size.
Vector artwork
Cut and engrave paths must be vector, outlined, with text converted to outlines and strokes expanded. A raster file cannot be cut from.
Bleed and safe area
3 mm bleed on printed pieces. Keep critical content 3 mm inside the trim or cut line — more on a shape with tight corners.
Colour management
Supply CMYK for print and name any Pantone references you need matched. We proof before production and will tell you where a match is not achievable in the process.
Proofing
Every job gets a digital mock-up for your client's written approval before production starts. Physical samples are quoted separately.
Packaging and fulfilment
Standard packing
Bulk packed for onward distribution.
Neutral packaging
No Salt and Wattle branding on the carton or the paperwork.
Blind shipping
Direct to your client or their event address, where operationally practical. Confirmed per job.
Distributor-directed fulfilment
Split deliveries and multiple drop addresses, quoted per job.
Origin descriptions
Applied per product, never to the range as a whole. The Australian Made logo is used only on products licensed for it.

- Made offshore to our specification with production managed by us. Quoted separately from the local version, with the differences disclosed.
Local and offshore versions of the same design can differ in material, colour, decoration method and tolerance. We disclose those differences before a proven local design moves to higher-volume offshore production, and we do not describe the two as identical until samples and specifications have been approved.

What we don't do
Stated directly — quoting on something we can't produce costs you more than a straight no.
- One-off personalisation below the applicable production minimum — we are a short-run manufacturer, not a one-piece personalisation service.
- On-location or in-store engraving.
- Materials we cannot safely process, including PVC and other chlorinated plastics.
- Deadlines that leave no room for proofing, approval and production — we would rather decline than miss it.
- Food, cosmetic and therapeutic goods, and anything requiring certification we do not hold.
